In an application submitted to the local council via an agent Williams have made a request to build 180 new homes on land immediate adjacent to the factory. This is shown highlighted on the image below.
The parcel of land sits outside the boundary of the factory plot and Williams have clearly decided that they aren’t going to use the land for their own purposes.
There is already an application to build homes on the Monks Farm plot that is behind this proposed development but it isn’t clear if the two would be linked.
The application was made on the 9th April and a decision is due by the end of this month.
